Heinmets Residence

Heinmets Residence, San Diego, 2011
JLC Architecture was commissioned to give this single-family home, built in the 1920’s, a major overhaul. New interior and exterior finishes, reorganized interior spaces to better fit the needs of the family, expanded second story to include a master suite and a new deck defined the program. Major efficiency upgrades such as new mechanical systems, increased insulation and rooftop solar hot water heating and photovoltaic panels were incorporated into the design as well.

General Contractor: Dan Levy Construction
Landscape Architect: McCullough Landscape Architecture
